TCHS Yearbook staff wants students to submit self-taken portraits through the Google Forms found on their Instagram @tchsybk due to COVID-19 precautions. Photo submissions remain open for seniors until Nov. 30. Entries for freshmen, sophomores and juniors closed on Nov. 13.
Seniors have the option to request an appointment with Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch for portrait sessions are from Dec. 7 to Dec. 18. Details on location have been emailed to students. Students can sign up for an appointment by visiting the Prestige Portrait on Lifetouch’s website at schedule.prestigeportraits.com. Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch will email appointment times to students after applying.
When taking the photo, students position themselves with their face-centered and slightly angled. Avoid having shadows in the picture, facing the camera head-on and using filters. Semi-formal attire is requested and it must follow the school dress code.
“I, along with the yearbook team, hope to ensure that pictures are turned in on time, all student questions are answered and photos are approved on time,” senior Lifetouch ambassador Britney Lee said. “COVID-19 has made it difficult for the Templar staff to get across the guidelines; but on the bright side, we are now able to give students a bit more freedom in terms of their pictures.”
