As the new principal, Dr. Jennifer Lashier wants to meet and personally connect with every student on campus. Dr. Lashier wants every one to know she is approachable and would love to talk and interact with all students.
Mold Invades the Portables
Since last March, history teacher Mr. Riley Saxon has had issues with rotting wood in his classroom. He received a phone call from Assistant Principal Mr. Richard Lohman on Aug. 16, notifying him of the water damage. Thanks to Mr. Scott Sherman and Mr. Nathan Slaymaker, the room was cleared out in a few hours. Mr. Saxon’s classes are in the Senate Room until a new, mold-free bungalow is built.
“It’s not a big deal, but I figure there are two options: One, I can complain and nothing will change or, two, I can make the best out of it and enjoy it,” Saxon said. “There is nothing I can do, so I’ll just run with it and make the best of it.”
