Staff Changes For Next Year
History teacher Mr. Michael Shore will no longer be teaching AP Government, and now will only teach AP and regular World History. History teacher Ms. Stacy Rudzik will be replacing him in the upcoming school year.
“The challenge of teaching two periods of AP World History and, essentially, two periods of AP Government, along with my other courses has become a little too much to maintain,” Mr. Shore said. “I feel I haven’t been able to put forth the quality of teaching that I expect of myself; I’ve spread myself a bit too thin.”
Counselor Ms. Maria Ioele will be taking time off to teach for a year at an international high school in Italy. Next year, English teacher Mr. José Marquez will temporarily fill Ms. Ioele’s position until she returns.
Spanish teacher Ms. Christine Kenderes, woods teacher Mr. Elias Bourjeili, English teacher Ms. Elena Li and science teacher Mr. Scott Randles will be teaching the new semester long College and Career class, that is a graduation requirement for incoming freshmen.
Retirees include math teacher Mr. Mark Howard, head secretary Ms. Kathie Mushinskie, Language Pathologist Deborah Evans and Principal Ms. Mary Jo Fosselman-King.
