Boys Basketball
The Rams ended their preseason with a 60-53 victory against the Alhambra Moors. They currently hold a league record of 1-0 after beating Monrovia by a score of 74-47 on Jan. 14. Last year, the team finished the season second in league, but fell short in the first round of the C.I.F. playoffs. With many experienced players returning from last year’s roster, they hope to dominate in league and make it deeper into the playoffs.
Girls Water Polo
The Lady Rams head into Rio Hondo League play with a lot of confidence and expect to finish near the top. The team finished the preseason 5-3 and after an early exit from the playoffs last year, the Lady Rams hope that they can make a bigger splash this time around. The team has also taken on a new off-season training regime and hope that doing well in league will give them the momentum they need.
Boys Soccer
The Boys Varsity Soccer team finished the preseason with a 2-9-1 overall record. The Rams lost their first Rio Hondo League match against the Monrovia Wildcats by a score of 7-0. This year, in addition to accommodating to a new roster, the team is working hard to adjust to new leadership under Coach Shane Watkins. They hope to limit their mistakes and achieve success this year in league.
