Christopher Dorner
The manhunt for Christopher Dorner came to an end as police found his body in a burned cabin in Angelus Oaks. The forensics team identified Dorner’s body through dental records. The former cop, who was fired in 2009, allegedy killed the daughter of a retired LAPD captain and her fiancé in Irvine on Feb. 3. His next victim was Riverside County police officer Michael Crain, who was killed inside his patrol car. LAPD issued a reward of one million dollars for the arrest of Dorner. Police then located the suspect in a condo where he tied up the owners.

After the couple freed themselves, they called 911 and after a standoff in the Angelus Oaks cabin, sheriff gassed the condo, hoping Dorner would surrender. The fourth victim was an officer named Jeremiah Mackay who Dorner shot during the standoff. The autopsy of Dorner’s body revealed a single bullet wound in his head.
